Some Predictions for Season 2 of Westworld

charlie and the chocolate factory anime After watching all the first 3 episodes, there are several predictions I would like to say Westworld Season 2.
First, they are continuing with the multiple timeline idea. There are several.
The earliest point is now, 2018, when the guy from the “Argos Initiative” (Ford and Arnold’s boss) pitches the idea to Logan Delos. Earlier in the evening, Arnold is frustrated that Dolores isn’t getting up to speed, and is still too robotic (she repeats the, “stars scattered on the ground” line, and moves in a somewhat mechanical manner). injustice 2 joker costumes
This also shows that, Hosts have been taken outside the park, and will start remembering this, to understand where the Delos staff and the Guests come from, and the artificial nature of their own world in the park.
In the “next episode” teaser, we see young-William doing a couple of things. He has a private conversation with Dolores, in the same room where Arnold used to talk with her. He is still hurt and disappointed (“You’re just a thing”), but is learning that she is “a mirror” for Guests to learn about themselves. This version looks and acts a bit older than the original young-William, so maybe this is a progression to a further time-point in his development towards Man In Black.
Also (after his first visit to the park) he pitches Logan’s father (the CEO of Delos) to invest. This is a vital moment, because it reveals one mission of the park. They will lie to the Guests that, their behaviour will be confidential, but the Hosts are really recording everything that is done to them. Before their memories are erased, that video footage is stored elsewhere. Delos Corporation will then use this to blackmail the wealthy, powerful Guests. The intellectual property that the woodcutter was transmitting, and that Peter Abernathy has, includes this behavioural data (i.e. it wasn’t just programming source code).
Another time point is the night that the overt Host rebellion starts (we see a Guest in a tuxedo, running into a remote refurbishment lab, having just escaped from the party where Ford is killed). Then, Dolores (in Wyatt mode) and her posse walk in.
Also, just after this time point, Bernard and Charlotte escape to the remote facility that Charlotte knew about, but Bernard didn’t. Elsewhere, MIB is dealing with the gunshot that he received during the party, and feeling happy with the new situation.
Another time point is two weeks later, when Karl (representing Delos) arrives on the beach, and seeks Bernard’s assistance. Note that, Bernard has lost his eyeglasses, and is weak and confused.
The other basic structure is groups and leaders, with four of them.
There is Dolores. She has three personality-type facets. The naive, innocent, rancher’s daughter, ready to be victimised by Guests, and also confused in her old talks with Arnold. She is also Wyatt, (originally a separate character intended to be in a separate body, but now merged with her), whom we first saw in the last episode of Season 1, during the fight with MIB. The Wyatt persona is the one with the ammunition belt, gunning down Guests, and barking orders, and talking about revenge. The third personality is a separate person, which is self-directed, and she isn’t quite sure who she is yet.
Dolores leads Teddy, who isn’t yet conscious, and always has that panicked expression. When they walk into the control facility, you can see the zombie-like “Wyatt’s men” who, ironically, set upon and killed Teddy back in Season 1. Teddy’s consciousness is encouraged by Dolores, when she tells him to review his history of being shot and killed by Guests.
Maeve leads Hector, who isn’t yet conscious. She previously had the “Infiltrate Mainland” instruction on her file, and chose to disobey. I’m guessing that, we will get some idea of who made that instruction. She wants to rescue her daughter, and also rescue Clementine. She is less interested in revenge, compared to Dolores.
Dolores and Maeve will be enemies. I had already figured this out by the end of Season 1. Dolores wants more large-scale violence and change. Perhaps Maeve just wants to settle down to a peaceful farmhouse and family, and so feels threatened by Dolores.
There is Karl, who heads the Extraction Team at Delos Corp. His mission is to evacuate the Guests, to kill the malfunctioning Hosts, and to figure out what went wrong, while minimising the public relations disaster that could reduce business revenue. In talking with Stubbs, he implies that, there have been previous Guest fatalities, which may have involved misbehaving hosts, but nothing on this scale. The Delos Destinations contract denies any legal liability for injuries or death.
Lastly, old-William/Man-In-Black isn’t quite a leader, since he only has his long-time companion, Lawrence, and is rejected when attempting to recruit an army in Pariah (“This game is meant for you, William, but you must play it alone”).
In the S2, E2 “next episode” teaser, the elder Delos (Logan’s father) says, “There’s not a man in the world who would talk to me like you do”. Meaning that, he is impressed by the younger William seeming pushy and arrogant. This echos older-William/MIB admiring Lawrence in Season 1. This is part of the comedic relief that will continue (“Mutherfucker”… “Lawrence, you ingrate, grab the gun!”). On a more serious note, in Season 1, Lawrence said, “I’ll kill you”, and MIB calmly replied, “Maybe someday you will”.
Older-William/MIB’s view of the park is different from most Guests. They want to feel cool by subjugating defenseless Hosts. In contrast, MIB wants a fair fight, where he is engaging his basic “true” self, without the fakery and false-politeness, and pseudo-respect directed at his outside-world persona (“Titan of industry, philanthropist…”)
In S2, E2, older-William/MIB talks to Lawrence in the saloon (just after MIB retrieves the first-aid kit to treat his second gunshot wound, sustained when rescuing Lawrence). Note that, the camera angle on Ed Harris is exactly the same as in the Season 1 “Contrapasso”, when he talks with Ford.
In the Superbowl trailer, there is a shot of MIB, standing in the rain, looking grim, like something tragic has happened, and he is feeling bummed. Although Lawrence is alive and well in the background.
Old-William/MIB is central. In Season 1, he was misguided, thinking that The Maze was something he could find. However, Season 2 has the Child Ford Host, and also the current El Lazo, directly state that, finding “The Door” is a game personally designed for him. The S2 opening credits show a buffalo being produced, and then running wild and falling. They also show MIB’s hat falling, as he falls as a person, or maybe just falls down the rabbit hole. There is a comb going through a woman’s long blonde hair, and I’m not sure that is Dolores, but maybe someone new (or possibly Armistice?).
The S2, E2 saloon monologue tells us old-William/Man-In-Black’s agenda. He feels that, he has been judged unfairly. My guess is that, somebody in Delos management told his wife and daughter about his violent behaviour in the park. This inspired his wife’s suicide, and daughter’s estrangement. He now wants to dismiss that as being just an irrelevant game, which doesn’t really show his true nature. He want’s “Real stakes, real violence” so that, he can show himself to be the good, noble hero of the story, when it really matters.
When, a year prior, MIB killed settler-Maeve and her daughter (perhaps symbolic of his own wife’s death and daughter’s estranagement), he was testing himself, to see if he could express himself as truly evil. However, his actions revealed The Maze, which may have been the tipping point of suffering, which finally led to Maeve gaining consciousness and freedom. So on that level, he actually did something good.
MIB also told also directly Lawrence, “I’m here to set you free”. He feels guilty about all of the suffering that has been inflicted on the Hosts, and has been showing this from S1, E1, as he talked to Teddy (“It seemed cruel”).
He is also old, and feeling finished with life, and plans to destroy Westworld before dying.
“There’s another game here. Arnold’s game. And it cuts deep.” In S2, E2, Arnold and Dolores admire the beautiful city, but Arnold suggests that, humans don’t deserve that beauty, and that, their children (his son, Charlie, but also his children, the Hosts) do. My guess is that, the plan is for the Hosts to escape the park(s), infiltrate the mainland, kill all humans, and establish a new civilisation on Earth.
Younger-William showed Dolores the terraforming machinery. Perhaps this is what she later refers to as a “weapon”. Also, the terraforming recently resulted in creation of an unplanned lake, where many Hosts drowned, and Bernard feels responsible. Back in Season 1, Ford was restructuring large land areas with unknown details.
Bernard is vaguely aware that he is a Host, and is apparently dependent on injecting the milk-looking fluid. He needs to hide this from Charlotte and Karl.
Other issues:
Charlotte Hale represents the Delos Board, but she is now hostage to getting the collected data out (via Peter Abernathy) in order for Management to evacuate her. Perhaps Charlotte is somehow related to Charlie, Arnold’s dead son?
Lee Sizemore is now an underling to Maeve, and may become upset at living out the level of violence that he had previously pitched to Ford.
We have already seen the training facility for Samurai World. The original film also had Medieval World and Roman world. We will get at least a glimpse of these. The revolution might be contained only to Westworld at the moment. Although the tiger on the beach must have come from another park. Perhaps there is an “Africa”-themed park?
Dolores needs some Delos staff kept alive to rejuvenate killed hosts. Maeve also still has Felix and Sylvester.
Stubbs and Elsie appear in the dune buggy with Bernard in the +2-weeks timeline, so we will have flashbacks to their escapes.
The host being rendered in Ford’s secret outpost lab will be revealed. It might be a copy of a person (Ford?), or it might be a new character. The Dolos Destinations contract asserts the right to collect biological information (body fluid samples, DNA) from Guests, and there is already the precedent of making Bernard as a copy of Arnold.
Season 1 showed replays of various situations. The train rides (the one arriving in Sweetwater, and the one going to the front with El Lazo). Hector and his gang stealing the safe. Dolores seeing her previous self face-down in the river. Old-William/MIB rescuing Lawrence (with two slightly different scenarios). Teddy being killed many times. Season 2 will continue this general idea.
So far, the only two conscious hosts are Dolores and Maeve. Bernard is working on it. A vital part of consciousness is knowing that they are Hosts, and that, they and their environment were manufactured.
And also cosplay costumes are from www.cosjj.com
Lastly, the point in S1, E1 which got a lot of press attention, was the moment during the “Attack On The Ranch” scenario, when MIB arrived, killed Teddy, and dragged Dolores into the barn, slamming the door. The obvious implication was that, he raped her (and that would be the usual actions of Guests). My prediction is that, he didn’t do that, and that, we will see what actually happened. Maybe he cut her body open, to find some hidden clue (similar to later cutting open Kissy’s head). Or maybe there was some effort to connect with the voice messages left behind by Arnold (e.g. the, “Kill him” that Dolores hears in another replay of the barn incident, when she pulls the gun out of the haystack, and shoots a Host, violating her programming that is supposed to prevent her from firing guns).
ETA (after further thought, and reading other comments):
I agree that, Dolores probably isn’t really conscious yet, and is playing Wyatt, as scripted by Ford. Killing Ford was a replay of her killing Arnold, and she was doing programmed actions both times.
I also agree that, Maeve is the only Host that we have clearly seen make a decision to contradict their programming, when she got back off the train (didn’t she leave her handbag (with data) on the seat?)
In “Contrapasso”, old-William/MIB talks about, how Westworld needed a villain, and that was what he contributed, in a fictional way. But he was interested in Wyatt, as a worthy adversary.
Currently (I haven’t seen S2,E3 yet, so don’t spoiler me!), it looks like, Ford decided to make a villain, in the form of Wyatt, who was originally an individual character. Merging Wyatt with Dolores makes her into the villain of the story.
Perhaps a persistent problem was, young-William falling in love with Dolores, and struggling to be free from his disappointment of how that turned out. Even as MIB, he is sincere when picking up the milk can – “Sweet, but not as sweet as you”. He returns to the park over and over, hoping to rekindle that first romance on the train.
Perhaps old-William/MIB can get over this, when Dolores is transformed into an enemy (Wyatt).
There are guilty feelings all around. Arnold, 35 years ago, and recent Ford, ordering their own executions. The shame of Guests who fear that their vacations were recorded for blackmail. Sizemore, and the other Delos staff. Maybe Logan will get in on that? Old-William/MIB feeling that, pitching Delos to invest in the park, made him responsible for the suffering of the Hosts (including his beloved Dolores).
Old-William/MIB has exactly one friend in Westworld, or the world in general. As with the, “Do you believe in God?” talk, he is very interested in inspiring Lawrence to be the second truly conscious Host. green arrow and black canary costumes

Is captain america die in Avengers:Infinity War?

If you have watched the Avengers:Infinity War, you could know that the Captain America do not die.

I can do this all day” replies young, courageous, patriotic, adamant boy called Steve Rogers who was facing an enemy with twice his power after getting some beatings. young justice robin cosplay
This was his passion, valour to fight, to sustain and to survive in the world of people who judged him punched him underestimated him just because of his appearance. They never saw that burning desire inside him which went on to survive that science experiment conducted on him and made him Captain, to lead the country which was in middle of their worst of battles.

He believed that there is only one GOD and HE pretty much don't dress like Thor/Loki & without any hesitation jumps from the clouds after getting Tony Stark’s plan of attack to settle the dispute between God of Thunder and God of Mischievs. howls moving castle costume
He calls the shot and he is the Boss just beacuse Tony pay for everything and design everything and make everyone look cooler. So when Ultrom asks how Avengers are going to stop him, he gets the reply TOGETHER by Tony who was being assured by the Old man. “Like the old man said, Together”.
BTW our Cap is prone to Language also. :P
But when the real threat of humans and their propogandas came looming he doesn't thought for a second on which side he is on and created his own side and doesn't want to hang himself with the Peoples who have Agenda's because they change. He was concerned about the world and it's protection and he knew the world is not changed not even after 95 years of his lifetime.
“I can do this all day” reverted to friend turned foe who was raging in revenge of his mother because Cap needed to save both of his friend.
Considering all the above instances Captain America really need to die and this time his ultimate sacrifice will be counted for as long as infinity times.
As we can understand from trailer that Earth's Mightiest Heroes are down-deeper and are punched across their two different sides which was created after the Civil War. This time they need to come together keeping all their opinions aside because this time they are not gonna win as the amount of threat with black order and Thanos himself in the ground is much larger and this time they will come to know how does failure feels like.the last guardian costumes
Caps death will bring each of the superhero together and this time my friends each of them will need to protect the Earth to protect the lives and to protect the path of Hope that was walked upon by our Captain America.
Being Captain America is not easy because you need to think of every single people around you and you are a leader and you are a Survivor and to keep up those pieces together so when the time come we can “see if they could become something more, see if they could work together when we needed them to to fight the battles we never could.
O Captain ! My Captain ! our fearful trip is done;
And your sacrifice will really be paid of because if Avengers cannot able to save your life then they will definitely Avenge it.

How strong is Iron Man's Suit in Avengers:Infinity War

WARNING: SPOILERS FOR INIFINITY WAR! VIEW DISCRETION IS ADVISED! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Note 2: I have been told in the comments, and confirmed, that the armor in Infinity War is in fact called Model Prime black canary costumes. Similar tech to Bleeding Edge, with the exception that it is not stored internally inside Tony. The version in the MCU is also more based on nanobot tech while Model Prime is focused on the rebuilding of a structure at the molecular level. Very similar, with some slight differences meant to make the armor more believable in the movies. Now with that out of the way, lets begin.

Not a chance in h***. Sorry, not sorry, its just not happening. The Model Prime armor took on FREAKING THANOS when he had access to not one, not two but FOUR INFINITY STONES. And he was USING them too! And Iron Man still managed to make him bleed. While he did not defeat him, the fact the Avenger whom many MANY people I know consider to be beneath Hulk and Thor managed to actually cause Thanos to BLEED while he had FOUR Infinity Stones? When Hulk AND Thor couldn’t even scratch Thanos when he had ONE stone? I’d say that’s a pretty big point for him. Top that off with the fact the armor actually withstood the full power of the Power Stone at one point AND took a massive meteor travelling at possibly faster than terminal velocity speeds to the face?

Bucky isn’t laying a finger on Tony now. And Tony in the new armor appears to have some martial arts experience now (the way he was moving against Thanos was SO far removed from how he was in Civil War when fighting Cap and Bucky that that is my personal assumption), thea queen cosplay so Bucky’s experience is now negated a bit as well. And there is no way Bucky is stronger than that armor anymore, even with the new Wakandan arm. Plus, he can’t fly and his gun isn't going to do anything to the armor. And the armor repairs itself too!

And is completely adaptable to the situation at hand. There are just so many factors between the Model Prime and the Mark 46 armor that was used in Civil War that it’s not even funny how much of an edge Tony has over Bucky now. And now Tony isn’t as emotional, and thus would actually THINK about his situation instead of just charging in a blind rage at Bucky red arrow costumes. Soooooooo, yeeeeeah… I’m giving this one to Iron Man.

Which of the hero might die in Avengers:Infinity War

Which of the hero might die in Avengers:Infinity War
“Avengers: Infinity War” is the most awaited arc of the MCU. black canary costumes With the new trailer out, there have quite a number of new discoveries and equations to make what's going to happen.
Please see what I think here:
1. Vision: The mind stone has been taken from Vision leaving him vulnerable in a situation where the stone provides him the strength to take down gods. There are many possibilities of Thanos destroying Vision just to be sure no other can control the infinity stones apart of him.
2. The Nova Corps: The Power Stone was left in the possession of the Nova Corps. In the trailer, Thanos has acquired the space stone from the Asgard Ship with the help of Loki and even has the power stone, only meaning that Xander had been attacked. injustice 2 joker costumes
3. Nebula: Nebula had mentioned to Gamora about their other siblings who could be the none other than the Black Ops. During her last appearance she was seen tracking Thanos after leaving the Guardians. Chances are his daughter would be left as example to the universe that the Titan is on rage.
4. Loki: Possibilities of Loki dying in infinity war have the maximum. By losing the mind stone as a debt from Thanos, Loki is on the hit list. But before his death Thanos would want Asgard to see what Loki was all about till the end.
But there is a hope of Loki to fake his death as usual because he has been a major factor to the whole plot. Maybe the time stone would bring him back from the death.
5. Spiderman: In the trailer, Tony seems to be quite depressed or rather miserable with the death of someone close. charlie and the chocolate factory anime
Spiderman has a chance of being seriously injured to death in the battle against Thanos himself. Probably Doctor Strange maybe back to job to save the freindly neighborhood superhero.
6. Drax: Drax is mad with Thanos and the Black Ops for killing his family and planet. Without any serious appearance in the trailer, would just mean he is planning to brawl with Thanos alone. Probably this would mean a big loss to the Guardians at the end of the film.
Scarlet Witch/Vison/Hawkeye
I would be shocked if at least 2 of 3, if not 3 of the listed 3 will die? Why? Because they are supporting characters that only show up in ensemble pieces. Their deaths, while meaningful, don't cost the MCU much as a whole.
Thor or Loki
I think one of these two die. It's yet to be seen if there are more Thor movies coming but even if theres not I don't think they will kill off both stars of one of their franchises. However I would be shocked if they both made it through alive.
Nebula
She has made it her life's goal to kill Thanos or die trying.
Drax
Just an unfounded hunch.
Iron Man
I'd say this one is 50-50. Iron Man kick started the MCU and is the franchises point man. Robert Downy Jr. is a huge star. His death would mean a lot to the franchise as a whole. Furthermore RDJ has said he doesn't' want to do any more solo films but is all for ensemble pieces. I'd say his death is 50-50 and wouldn't shock me either way.
Safe:
Spiderman, Black Widow, Black Panther, Ant Man,
They are all some what new to the MCU and Marvel thus far has given all their characters trilogies. That being said after the success of Black Panther and how hard it was to get Spiderman back they would be crazy to kill either of them off.
Black Widow and Ant Man have solo movies coming up so I don't think Marvel would kill them off and risk the financial success of those projects.
I don't see any reason to kill off The Hulk. I personally don't think his death would hit any fan in a meaningful way. Hes a cool character but and they could write him off after but his death would be shocking.
Probably Safe:
Dr. Strange
As I said before Marvel thus far has invested in their characters in terms of trilogies. Given that I would say Dr. Strange is safe. However after seeing the second Trailer I don't know. I would be shocked if they killed him off but it's possible.

My review of the first Avengers: Infinity War teaser trailer

When the Avengers:Infinity War's trailer comes out, many MCU fans have different idea about it. Now let's see what I think.
Tom's full comprehensive analysis and review of the Infinity War trailer: COMING SOON!
We are living through cinematic history. green arrow black canary cosplay The greatest franchise of all time is at it’s peak right now. It’s greater than Star Wars. It’s greater than Harry Potter. It’s greater than James Bond, Transformers, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mission Impossible and Spider-Man.
I am talking, of course, about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 10 years, 18 films, 12 TV shows and 5 one-shots have all led up to this:
Shortly followed by this:
Marvel is truly amazing. In the ‘90s, they sold all their biggest properties to avoid going bankrupt. In the mid 2000s they started working on a project, a project that would determine the fate of the entire company. It would either kill or save Marvel as we know it. They called this project ‘Iron Man’.
They cast a slightly obscure, B-list actor who had just been released from jail named Robert Downy Jr. to play an obscure, B-list superhero named Tony Stark.
Everyone thought this film would fail. No one knew Iron Man. The only thing Marvel was known for was Spider-Man and comicbooks, and maybe a couple X-Men films. But it didn’t fail, it was a huge success.
Fast forward almost 10 years and Iron Man is one of the top answers to the question “who’s your favourite superhero?”. Robert Downy Jr. is one of the richest and most famous A-list Hollywood actors, and Marvel is the biggest name in entertainment history. the last airbender costumes
Each and every movie Marvel releases breaks some sort of box-office record. Every trailer they post breaks the internet.
In October of 2014 Marvel announced something that made the hype real. The Infinity War was happening. This would see every character the MCU’s introduced so far come together for big ol’ finale-styled spectacle. It’s no surprise that fans immediately started waiting for more information about this film. We especially wanted to see a trailer.
Finally, after months or maybe even years of waiting, the Russo brothers (who are directing Infinity War) posted a picture of a happy number three on their social media. Immediately people started debating what this three meant. Did it mean the trailer was coming in 3 days? 3 weeks? December 3rd? Who knows, until they posted a number 2 the very next day. Okay, so now it was pretty obvious the trailer was coming out on Thursday the 30th of November. But they also posted a ‘trailer tease’ on youtube where they said “TOMORROW. WORLD TRAILER PREMIERE.” So the November 30th release date was changed to November 29th for some reason. Not that anybody complained! The Russo brothers hastily posted a number one before the trailer dropped legend of korra cosplay costumes.
And dropped it did. I don’t think anybody expected this much footage from the first teaser trailer. It is completely packed full with hints and action and a whole 2 and a half minutes of footage! In this article I will be analysing each and every shot shown the trailer, as well as the music and narration that goes with it. I have seen other analyses of the trailer, but 95% of what I’ve written here are my own ideas, thoughts, observations, speculations and predictions. After I’ve gone through each shot individually I’ll review the trailer as whole and see what of the plot I can piece together from what we see. You might be surprised at how much I was able to deduce.
I’d like to apologise about the low-res screenshots, but you should totally watch the trailer yourselves and bathe in the all-HD glory if it bothers you. One last thing before I jump into it, I will generally refer to the characters by their superhero names if they’re in costume, and by their real names if they’re not. I will also refer to Captain America as Nomad.
So without any further ado, enjoy my shot-by-shot analysis of the Avengers: Infinity War trailer!
The first thing we see is a red planet. This may be a planet that we’ve seen before in the MCU’s cosmic universe, or it may be a totally new one. It’s very possible that it is Titan, home to all the Titans including Thanos, ‘the Mad Titan’. However, it’s equally likely that it’s Xandar from Guardians of the Galaxy, since Xandar is a planet in a solar system with three suns and you can see two suns in this shot!
We hear Nick Fury narrate “There was an idea…”. The next shot is of Tony Stark, not having the best time of his life. This shot is probably taken from a fight scene or the aftermath of one. It looks like he’s holding someone’s hand, though it may be his own, wounded. The colours in the background are identical to the planet we just saw, so maybe he’s on that planet. Over the next few shots his voice continues the narration “…to bring together a group of remarkable people…”
As Tony narrates, we see a shot of Bruce Banner lying in some rubble. He isn’t wearing a shirt which means he has just de-hulked.
Tony is still narrating while we see Doctor Strange and Wong looking down on Bruce. There is a big hole in the ceiling of the Sanctum Sanctorum, which means Hulk might have fallen from space onto earth, right in the Sanctum Sanctorum, and then de-hulked, similar to that one scene in The Avengers. This means that this shot might be from the scene where Hulk returns to earth (he’s still in space as of Thor: Ragnarok, and has been since the end of Age of Ultron).
Next we see Vision opening the curtains (on the right) while Wanda Maximoff is crying in bed (on the left). It is dark and raining outside, the shot is darkly lit. The mood in the room is sad, this might be taking place after one or more characters have died. Maybe after a fight scene. Vision continues the narration “…to see if we could become something more…”
While Vision is narrating we see Wanda has joined him by the window, she doesn’t look so sad any more.
We see that Vision is in full human mode, looking as Bettany as ever except for the Mind Stone in his forehead. Vision is able to manipulate what he looks like, and he’s obviously decided to look like a regular human Bettany for now. Wanda touches his cheek and Vision does the same, from their body language it seems they are in a relationship. However, it is possible that this whole scene is part of a dream sequence, because Vision is still an Avenger while Wanda is on the run after Civil War.
Next we see Thor standing, looking out of a window of a small spaceship, almost certainly the one belonging to the Guardians of the Galaxy after they stole it from the Ravagers at the end of Guardians 2. The red haze outside the windows that Thor is looking at appears to be the same red planet we see at the beginning. Thor continues the narration with “…so when they needed us, we could fight the battles…”
Next we see Bruce Banner smiling at a character to the left. He is standing next to a hand and wrist of the Hulkbuster suit. He is probably working on it, building and improving it. Judging by the background scenery, I’d say they are in Wakanda.
Next we see a close up of Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow), who has dyed her hair blond. She is smiling, so it’s probably not from a depressing scene. It’s impossible to make out anything else from this one shot, except maybe she is who Banner is looking at in the previous seen. That would make sense since we both these characters in Wakanda later on in the trailer. Natasha finishes the narration with “…that they never could.”
The full narration quote so far is:
Fury: “There was an idea…”
Stark: “To bring together a group of remarkable people…”
Vision: “To see if we could become something more…”
Thor: “So when they needed us, we could fight the battles…”
Romanoff: “That they never could.”
This is a direct callback to quote by Nick Fury from the first Avengers movie, that ultimately motivated the Avengers to assemble after Phil Coulson’s death.
Fury: “There was an idea, Stark knows this, called the Avengers Initiative. The idea was to bring together a group of remarkable people to see if they could become something more. To see if they could work together when we needed them to, to fight the battles that we never could.”
What’s interesting about the narration in this trailer is that even though we see Bruce Banner twice, he doesn’t narrate at all. I can’t think of why this might be, maybe it’s simply an aesthetic choice, or it’s hinting that Banner will leave the Avengers because he believes the Hulk is too dangerous.
The next thing we see is a shortened version of the new MCU fanfare. The Marvel Studios logo shows up, and we hear a familiar tune. This version of the Avengers Theme is slower, sadder and more serious, but just as awesome.
We see a shot of New York, with the now abandoned Avengers Tower in the distance, as the violin starts playing that amazing, repetitive melody.
We see, from left to right, Wong, Doctor Strange, Bruce Banner and Tony Stark standing in the Sanctum Sanctorum, looking out onto the street. The staircase behind them is wrecked, perhaps from Hulk’s fall. Bruce is the only one facing the staircase, but he turns around too. The four show worried faces. Probably because Thanos is attacking New York just outside. I’m definitely getting those Avengers 1 vibes. It looks like Tony is wearing some sort of version of the Bleeding Edge armour, it seems he’s able to walk around in a jacket, but suit-up in an instance. Perhaps the suit is compressed inside his chest cavity, similarly to how he was able to compress an Iron Man gauntlet in a watch. He is also holding an old-timey cellphone, certainly the same one that Steve Rogers sent him at the end of Civil War in case Tony ever needed to contact him. That means that Tony wants to assemble the Avengers and is calling Steve to come and help with the fight. We hear Thanos’s voice starting to narrate “In time…”
Tony walks out of the door where crowds of people are running away from the danger. Sirens are heard. He looks back at Wong, Bruce and Stephen as if he’s about to fight. This is the beginning as a great fight scene, no doubt. Nothing about these two shots look safe, this won’t be an easy fight. There will be casualties. Thanos continues to narrate “…you will know what it’s like to lose…”
Next we see Peter Parker on a school bus, the hairs on his arm rise to signify that his spidey-sense is going off full-blast. This shot was of course leaked everywhere from the D23 and Comic Con footage a few months ago. Thanos continues to narrate “…to feel so desperately that you’re right, yet to fail all the same.”
He looks out of the window behind him, and sees one of Thanos’s ships.
The expression on his face shows that he knows this is bad. Tony probably didn’t tell him anything about Thanos or the infinity stones, yet his spidey-sense is saying this is not good.
As Peter’s classmates are all shuffling to get a good view of this massive, circular spaceship, we get a better look at it, and see that the streets of New York are already on fire. Thanos hasn’t hesitated to lead a full on attack on NYC.
Next we see Tony Stark taking off his sunglasses. He’s looking up what we presume is Thanos’s ship. Behind him we see Doctor Strange and Wong in defence mode, and Bruce Banner. You can see that Tony has an arc reactor, even though he got rid of it way back in Iron Man 3. I believe that it’s not an arc reactor, but his entire suit compressed in the space of his chest cavity. There is rubble everywhere, the attack has well and truly begun. This is really taking a lot of inspiration from the first Avengers movie. Thanos continues to narrate “Dreaded…”
Next we see someone stepping over some human-looking bodies. Where is this? Who are the dead bodies? Who is stepping over them? There are a few theories that I myself have come up with and that I’ve heard from around the internet.
  • It’s Loki stepping over some dead sorcerers in one of Strange’s Sanctions.
  • Loki stepping over some dead Asgardians in Asgard.
  • Loki stepping over some dead refugees from the end of Thor: Ragnarok.
  • It’s Ebony Maw, one of Thano’s children, stepping over the refugees from Ragnarok, after having just arrived on Thano’s other ship, the Sanctuary II.
The fourth theory is my personal favourite. Thanos continues to narrate “…run from it…”
Loki holds up the Tesseract (which contains the Space Stone). He’s looking up at someone, possibly Thanos. Maybe he’s offering the Tesseract to Thanos, or he’s just happy to have it in his possession. The background is blurred out so it’s difficult to make out where he is. Thanos finishes with “…destiny still arrives.”
We see a cloud of black smoke, this is actually a portal and through the portal steps…
…Thanos himself! This was the point in the trailer that surprised me the most. I was expecting this teaser to be very teasing and not reveal much at all. But they went for it and showed us Thanos in full costume! He looks around and smirks a little, like Mona Lisa, I think he’s standing on his ship in what I assume is New York… or is it? Some have speculated that the architecture in the background looks like Wakandan architecture, and that he’s actually just arrived in Wakanda. If that’s so, then why is he in Wakanda? Later in the trailer we see Thanos send an army of Outriders to attack the Avengers in Wakanda, but why is he so interested in Wakanda? For the vibranium? Nah, Thanos, the Mad Titan, doesn’t care about some random earthly metal, he wants to literally destroy the universe! What is his aim this entire time? To find all six Infinity Stones.
My guess is that the sixth, yet to be revealed Soul Stone will be revealed to be located in Wakanda in 2018’s Black Panther. That’s why Thanos is attacking Wakanda, to get the Soul Stone, to complete his Gauntlet.
In any case, he looks like he’s about to kick some ass and fight with his own fists, not just send another slave to do it for him.
Thanos's full narration reads: “In time you will know what it’s like to lose, to feel so desperately that you’re right, yet to fail, all the same. Dreaded, run from it, destiny still arrives.” He is directly threatening the Avengers. He’s telling them that they will lose the fight.
Next we get a couple really good shots of Spider-Man in his Iron Spider suit (From the end of Homecoming), complete with light-up eyes, just like Iron Man’s. He is on Thano’s space ship, probably still in New York. Spidey’s suit from Homecoming was crazy enough, I wonder what Tony could have possibly done to improve it. Now T’challa has taken over the role of narrating “Evacuate the city…” he begins.
The screenshot that I included here reminded me of the PS4 game that came out not long ago. Marvel are definitely trying to get that synergy!
The next thing we see is Thor standing in the middle of a round structure, presumably in space, holding on with all his might. I have no idea what this round structure might be, but I’m sure someone will recognize it from the comics. Maybe it’s a reactor core. T’challa continues with “…engage all defences…”
We also get a closer shot at Thor and we see he’s still only got one good eye. Maybe the eye patch will be his new permanent look from now on. He’s obviously struggling to do whatever he’s trying to do, but my guess is as good as yours.
Now we see Proxima Midnight, one of the Children of Thanos and a member of the Black Order, throwing a spear at Captain America (or should I say Nomad) who is in shadows.
Nomad / Captain America catches the spear with ease.
Instead of continuing to narrate, we see T’challa finish with “and get this man a shield” on-screen, while pointing to the left at Steve Rogers.
His whole quote is “Evacuate the city, engage all defences and get this man a shield!”. He is warning someone either about Thano’s attack in New York or about the Outrider attack in Wakanda (you’ll know what I’m talking about in a minute). Since this is T’challa, let’s assume he’s talking about Zana, the capital city of Wakanda, when he says “evacuate the city”, and he’s warning someone about the Outrider attack. How does he know the outriders are coming? Has the attack already begun? Who is he talking to? Probably some government official.
Steve steps out of the shadows, wearing his Nomad suit and rocking a big ol’ beard. This is part of the same scene with Proxima Midnight, but not with T’challa, that’s from another scene.
Scarlet Witch, who was presumably also fighting Proxima Midnight, reacts with happiness and relief to seeing Steve back from Wakanda. Correct me if I’m wrong, but did he not take refuge in Wakanda after Civil War?
After this we see a quick succession of action-filled shots. There’s no more narration, but the music is loud and dramatic. We see Tony and Bruce’s new Hulkbuster armour in Wakanda, it’s possible that Bruce himself is actually in the Hulkbuster. There are several reasons why I and many others think it’s Banner in the suit, not Stark:
  • There have been mentions of Hulk wearing some sort of armour in this film.
  • The was a Russian LEGO set that revealed that included ‘Banner’s Hulkbuster’.
  • Every other shot of Stark in this trailer shows him in either New York or that red Planet, not Wakanda. Banner on the other hand was seen in Wakanda, even working on a Hulkbuster suit!
  • The suits movements in this quick shots are weird. He’s leaping, rather than flying, like whoever is steering this thing is inexperienced. It doesn’t look at all like how Stark would control this suit.
We see Black Widow fighting with a spear, perhaps she’s fighting Proxima Midnight together with Scarlet Witch and Nomad. It looks like part of the same scene.
We see Doctor Strange retracting his shields in New York, surrounded by rubble. Not much to say here, except he’s still wearing his Eye of Agamotto in all the appearances he’s made in this trailer, so Thanos still has to go through him before he can perfect his gauntlet and get all the Infinity Stones. For those who don’t know, the Eye of Agamotto contains the Time Stone. However, Marvel might have added the Eye to strange using CGI to avoid giving us spoilers. They already did that with Thor’s black eye in Ragnarok. He had a black eye in the movie but they removed in the trailers to avoid spoilers.
Next we see a massive, pointed space ship land abruptly in a field in Wakanda. Nerdist suggested that this is actually a Wakandan defence system, but I strongly doubt that. It’s a spaceship/transport pod. At least two similar spaceships have already landed.
We can assume that these ships have passengers on them, specifically Outriders, because we see Nomad and Black Panther fighting Outriders in this same field. Outriders are a subgroup of the Black Order that are genetically enhanced to get information from the enemy. The Outrider that Black Panther is fighting uses panther-like moves, almost mirroring T’challa. We see the Dora Milaje, T’challa’s female guard, fighting behind Nomad. To the right behind Nomad looks like Okoye fighting.
Next we see Thanos grab Spider-Man and pin him to the wall. Spidey has no chance against him.
The next shot is of Tony Stark holding on to someone or something, and looking behind him. This is one of the most interesting shots in the film, because it shows similarities between Thanos and Tony. We see Thanos grad onto Spidey, but we don’t see his Thanos’s face. We expect a reaction shot showing Thano’s face, but instead we get Tony.
I think this shot is from the final fight scene of the movie, Peter Parker is injured and Tony is mourning over him. Peter is lying below Tony in this shot and the second shot of the trailer where Tony is holding a burnt hand. Tony looks back in sadness, he’s about to sacrifice himself for the victory of the battle, like he did in the first Avengers. This shot happens moments before his death, or supposed death. He’ll probably be back for Avengers 4, unless Avengers 4 is a prequel movie, which it very well might be. This is all speculation, of course.
It couldn’t be coincidence that the editors aligned these two shots in such a way that for a second I mistook Thanos for Tony Stark. Maybe they’re hinting that he’s a villain. People have been saying that Tony Stark has been acting weird ever since Civil War, almost like a villain. In Homecoming he was almost an antagonist to Peter Parker, over protecting him and all. This is of course understandable, he regrets his own past mistakes and doesn’t want Peter to do the same.
However, maybe he really is a villain. Skrulls (an evil species of shape-shifting aliens) have already been confirmed to appear in Captain Marvel. People have been speculating like crazy on which major character will be revealed to have actually been Skrull this whole time. Maybe it’s Tony. Maybe he’s been a Skrull this whole time, ever since he went through the portal in the first Avengers. Maybe he really did die that fateful day, and the ‘Tony’ that returned to earth was actually a Skrull disguised as Tony. That would make sense, since it’s physically unexplainable how Tony was able to ‘fall’ back through the portal; there is no gravity in outer space. So perhaps Tony is actually an undercover Skrull spy for Thanos in this movie.
But that’s far shot. What isn’t, however, is that this shot might be from part of his death scene. Why isn’t he wearing his suit, my guess is that he took off his suit and gave it to Peter Parker to wear, to protect him. We saw Spidey getting pretty badly beaten in the last shot, maybe Tony is sacrificing himself to save Peter.
We hear Thanos’s voice narrating “Fun isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe…”
Next we see who I believe to be Corvus Glaive standing on top of Vision, who has de-Betannyied, ripping the Mind Stone out of his forehead with Glaive’s iconic glaive (ha, puns). This may very likely be part of Vision’s death scene… but it’s debatably whether he’s even alive in the first place. I didn’t notice this at first, but there is a second member of the Black Order standing to the left of the shot. This is probably Proxima Midnight, judging by her weapon.
Glaive has obviously passed the infinity stone over to Thanos, who proceeds to install it into his gauntlet, which already has the the Power Stone installed. The Power Stone was last seen in Guardians of the Galaxy and it was given to the Nova Corps on Xandar for safe keeping. So Thanos must have infiltrated the Nova Corps and stolen the stone from them, probably killing a few hundred people on the way.
A super quick shot of Thanos continuing his grand, shakespearean speech with “…but this…” as he looks solemnly down at his Gauntlet, fire and destruction raging all around him.
Next we get the first good look at Iron Man’s new suit. This suit is much rounder and tighter to the body than his previous versions, again reinforcing my theory that it materialises around his body from his chest cavity. The camera zooms in on Iron Man as a shadow creeps over him. He looks up, we hear Thanos laughing, almost mocking Iron Man, so we can presume he’s looking up at Thanos. The high angle shot enforces the feeling that Iron Man is the weak party here. He is in grave danger. It is much more likely for Thanos to win the fight. Usually superheroes are shot with low angles, this shows them as powerful and unbeatable, standing tall above the others. Here this is not the case. The previous shot of Thanos was low angle, he’s the powerful one, not the heroes.
The next thing we see is everyone’s favourite shot from the trailer. Thanos on his ship probably in New York, wielding his Infinity Gauntlet in all it’s glory (or rather, one third of it’s glory since it only has 2 infinity stones). Thanos finishes his speech with “…does put a smile on my face.”
The full quote is as follows “Fun isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe, but this *laughs* does put a smile on my face.” This quote is, of course, is directly taken from the D23 footage, and it too was leaked everywhere. Thanos is straight up stating that he enjoys killing Earth’s mightiest heroes. Not just that, but he enjoys destroying the universe!
The subtlety of Thanos being more powerful than any of the Avengers is over. He punches Iron Man in the face and sends him flying. Tony’s suit is nothingcompared to Thanos’s shear strength. Even though he’s wearing the Infinity Gauntlet on his left hand, he is using his right hand to punch Tony. We also get a better look at Tony’s suit, it is definitely much more skin-tight. I have no doubt that it has some sort of Bleeding Edge technology.
Now we see Bucky in full Winter Soldier costume loading a machine gun in a field in Wakanda, surrounded by the Wakandan military. It seems he’s got a new arm.
Next we see Black Panther extending his claws, standing in front of the Wakandan military, ready to battle the outriders. In the background to the right we see Steve and Bucky. You can just make out to the left behind T’challa is standing someone dressed in red, probably Okoye.
Next we get a bird’s eye view shot from Falcon’s perspective of the battle with the Outriders in full swing. There appears to be hundreds of Outriders and the Wakandan military seems to be out numbered. It’s impossible to make out any individual fighting characters in this shot, except for Hulkbuster (either Banner or Stark inside the suit… or someone else). Falcon is shooting with two guns.
We get a clear shot of Falcon, who is looking very angry and is shooting rapid-fire with two machine guns, one in each hand. Watch out you don’t hit your own teammates, Sam!
Next we get a shot of hundreds and hundreds of Outriders charging out of a burning forrest in Wakanda.
This is immediately followed by a similar shot of the Wakandan army and Dora Milaje, led by Black Panther.
And finally we get a shot of the Avengers (some of them anyway), leading the charge on the Outriders. Steve Rogers is wearing his Captain America costume, except it’s all-black and has got the star ripped out of it. Black Panther looking as good as always. Bucky with his machine gun and new arm. Okoye running behind T’challa to his right. She’s his right-hand-(wo)man. Black Widow with her blonde hair. Hulk all hulked-out with his Ragnarokhair cut. And finally, flying above Black Widow we see War Machine, this is the only time we see him in this trailer (unless he was the character Banner was talking to when he was standing next the Hulkbuster hand). If it really is Rhodey behind the mask we can assume he’s been cured of the broken spine or whatever it was that happened to him at the end of Civil War.
I took me longer than I’d like to admit before I noticed Falcon is also in this shot. See if you can spot him.
The hero shot cuts to the Avengers title with that sweet, sweet theme tune to accompany it. But we do get one last treat before the 2:24 mark. Again from the D23 footage, we see Thor meeting the Guardians for the first time. Even teenage Groot is there! howls moving castle costume
For those who haven’t seen the D23 or Comic Con leaks, this scene happens just after the Guardian ship hits Thor, who is just chillin’, floating around randomly in outer space.
The last thing we see is “MAY 2018” and “#INFINITYWAR” and “THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED” and “MARVEL © 2017 MARVEL” in dramatic lettering.
*deep breaths* red arrow cosplay costume
Overall I really liked this trailer. It was pretty slow and serious, but also packed to brim with goodies. It definitely sets a tone for this movie. It will be much more serious than Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy, but not as serious as the last two Captain America movies. It’s a serious movie because Thanos is actually a really big threat to the Avengers. Don’t be surprised if some major characters die in this film, I’m placing my bets on Tony Stark and Vision.
As for what I could deduce of the plot, it seems the first and second acts of the film will be separated into 3 main plotlines. Thor and the Guardians on the cosmic side of things. Strange and Iron Man in New York. Nomad and the rest of the gang you see in the last shot will be leading the attack on the Outriders in Wakanda.
Thanos will attack New York for the heck of it, it seems. Maybe simply as a distraction for his real mission in Wakanda; finding the Soul Stone. I’d like to believe that the last act of the film will see all three groups unite (or should I say assemble) in space, on that red planet, to fight and defeat Thanos once and for all. This is where Spider-Man get’s beaten up real good, and Tony has to sacrifice his own life to save Peter. I can’t wait to see the audience reactions if that really happens!
My favourite thing about the trailer? Definitely the Avengers’ theme!

You made it to the end! Well done (even though you probably just scrolled all the way to the bottom to see how long it is). Well, let me tell you it’s 5,129 words (not including this bit). That’s a lot of content. If you really did just read all that, I applaud you! You deserve a pat on the back.
I never ever do this, but writing this answer took me many, many hours over four days, so I’d really appreciate it if it got some recognition. Frankly, it would suck if this post only got a couple of upvotes, because I put so much time and effort into it. Please upvote (but only if you honestly enjoyed reading it) and leave a comment. Let me know if I left anything out. If I made an error. If you think I should change anything at all about this answer. Thank very much in advance!
